Thats right! Spasticated are still in talks with hot new Sydney 4/5 piecce Grand Major Minor Mini. They might even get around to recording that EP we’ve been talking about.

Despite the lack of news and updates, Spasticated is still operational. We are still doing Mailorder and selling stuff via a few distributors.

I just noticed that I haven’t updated Spasticated since November 2005.

A quick Rundown of 2006 in somewhat chronological order

++ Dsico “Fool” sells alright. some press. some interest the 500 CD pressing is disappearing quite quickly.

++ Sean from Metal Postcard / 12-Apostles takes over the Digital Distribution Side of things and manages to get a bunch of the spasticated stock on some of those websites. Where I hear we sell al few copies.

++ Gang Of Youth put out a Dsico 12″ of some new mixes of tracks from “You Fight Like A Girl”

++ Luke Snarl and start talks with Yes Nukes (Sydney) about possibly doing an Album on Spasticated. We do soem recordings on the cheap but I had second thoughts. I think they are doing stuff with Danny from Feral Media now…

++ Metal Postcard put out the Dsico “City Stirs” 12″ of some tracks from “Fool” response is reasonable

++ We sell a few of the old Girltalk Unstoppable CDs on the back of the Blow UP success of Gregg’s 3rd Album of Mashed UP Mayhem: Nightripper. (which was released exclusively by Illegal Art… damn - I guess i jumped from that train too early).

++ Ac-3P stock surprisingly gets an occasional look in. Although I”ve given most of the CDs to Wade now.

++ Dsico does a few shows with the New 3 Piece Band and throws CDs into crowd and skewers eyes.

++ Grand Major Minor Mini recording / Ep release plan never comes together one of their singers disappears up north for 3 months and it all goes to shit.

++ Dave Toecutter talks about doing a Ministry of Shit 2. I’m not really into that stuff anymore so he takes over the name and runs with it. So Ministry of Shit 2 is out about Christmas time (on Dave’s label).

++ I run into Pixel Pirates who have finally finished their film but my enthusiasm for a DVD release had waned….

Its just astounding. The new Dsico EP, “Fool” is finally finished and shipping to a distributor near you. (well it might be). 5 brand spanking new tracks + 12 remixes of Dsico tracks (most previously releasd on “You Fight Like A Girl”).

Reverberation is handling the Australian Distribution so if its not in a your local record shop you should go in and ask ‘em for it. tell them to get it in from Reverberation. Check out the release page for the full details and tracklisting.
